Last week I had the opportunity with a group of other like minded photographers to visit a couple of local businesses in Chipping Camden. I wrote a short post about Louise Pocock, the bespoke Milliner last week and one of the other businesses we were fortunate enough to visit was Hart's, a Silversmith who have been making custom, bespoke silver products since the 1800's.
The workshop is an amazing place with light streaming in through the windows and a huge array of tools, some of which could have been a hundred years old! It was one of those real throwbacks to how things were done and a place you could literally spend hours in photographing the people going about their skilled work.
Here's a few photos from the day. I've purposely processed them in black and white as I feel it adds to the character of the place.
